The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. -James 5:16b
At Revival Christian Fellowship, we are firmly committed to the belief that prayer is not an option in the Christian life; it is a privilege and a command.
The Bible says that we should, “Pray without ceasing….For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (I Thessalonians 5:17,18). Jesus Himself told His disciples that “Men ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1). He also said in another Gospel, “When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father who knows all secrets, will reward you” (Matthew 6:6).
As we recognize the value of prayer, we are seeking prayer partners who can commit to pray for our ministries. We know that God’s rewards will bless many.
There are times when life is overwhelming, when all we have is questions. In those moments, hope can feel far away. The great thing about prayer is that it shifts our perspective toward the One who stands ready to listen. No matter what you’re facing, we’d love to pray with you!
