Revival Cares COVID-19 Outreach
The coronavirus pandemic is affecting everyone—across our nation, and worldwide. In the middle of the panic and fear and the calls for social distancing, we know that people need to be able to find kindness in the chaos. We are called to help, calm, and spread kindness. The Bible reminds us of this vital truth, “Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith” (Galatians 6:10). We are a family, and it is a blessing to respond to this call, at this time. COVID-19 has caused stress, anxiety, and fear, particularly among the elderly, immune-compromised, and unemployed members of our church family. Pastor John, the staff, and our church family here at Revival feel a strong call to help out those in need. We have prayerfully come up with three practical ways to help our family at Revival in this season:

We’re picking up the phone.
The Revival staff and a few volunteers are making phone calls to many in our fellowship. We have a database of phone numbers, and we’re calling to see how we can pray for people and meet any needs they have.

We’re collecting practical items to meet real needs.
Anyone in our community can drop off non-perishable food items and grocery store gift cards. You don’t even need to come inside. We have staff receiving donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 4:00 pm-6:00 pm in front of Room 31 on the West side of the parking lot.

We’re delivering items to people in need.
Our church is taking phone calls at (951) 246-5642 Monday through Thursday from 8 am-5 pm from people who are at risk and need assistance. Please also feel free to fill out the form below if you have a need or know someone who has an immediate need. As we learn about people’s needs, we’re matching them up with the items we’re collecting, and Revival staff and volunteers are making those deliveries.

Above all, we’re trusting God. What an extraordinary time to be a believer and to be the church. The power of a pandemic is nothing compared to the power of God. Pray that God will use us—His church—in a compelling way that brings glory to His great name as we spread kindness amid chaos.

If you have a need or know someone with an immediate need, please fill out the form below, and one of our staff members or volunteers will get back to you.
