The season of Advent lasts for four Sundays leading up to Christmas. It is a time of anticipation and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ in his First Advent and the expectation of the return of Jesus at the Second Coming. Jesus Christ has come and will come again; this is the spirit of Advent.
Anticipating Advent reflects on the beautiful Christmas story depicted in the Gospel of Luke. You will be encouraged as you consider the miracle of Christ’s birth and the fulfillment of prophecy and promises in God’s Word.
