It’s hard to follow Christ completely. You may be submitted to Jesus in most of your life, but there may be that one thing you’re unwilling to let go of! It could be your money, family, or plans for the future – whatever area it is; Pastor John will encourage you today to place it on the altar. Take what you so desperately want to control and hand it to Jesus – and then do it again tomorrow if needed! Don’t worry, though – Jesus has a much better handle on your life than you ever could! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter chapter 1 as he continues his message The Wonder of Redemption.

Scripture
1 Peter 1:18 - 21

1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
