Celebration of Salvation (Study 1) – Part 2

How do people use the word “hope”?  Sometimes it’s clinging to an uncertain outcome, as in: “I hope our team wins today.” Or it could be a much stronger confidence, as in “I have great hope for my upcoming marriage.”  But… hopes sometimes don’t come to pass.  And sometimes they die.  Aren’t you glad, as Pastor John shares today, that your hope in God is not tentative and it can’t die?  In Jesus, you have a living hope: His pardon from your sins, His presence in your life, and His power for you to live in holiness.
