A Checklist for Choosing Deacons – Part 2

If you’re a Christian saved by God’s grace, then you’ll be eager to serve Him.  But where in the church might you be called?  Today, Pastor John shows the wisdom of God’s plan for the church by defining various roles for different people.  In addition to pastors, there’s are a need for “deacons” to take care of many of the routine matters of the church.  If you’re serving as a deacon, you’re in good company.  Joshua, Paul, and even Jesus served God in “ordinary” roles before they were called to public ministry.
