Marks of a Good Minister – Part 2

If you visit a lot of different churches, you’ll hear a lot of different content.  Here’s something that might be difficult to measure, but interesting to ponder: how much of what you hear is the reading of the Word of God, and how much is someone speaking his own words?  Today, Pastor John explains that a good pastor will tell you what a text says, what it means, and then how it applies.  But it starts with “what the text says.” As a Christian who is God’s witness to others, you should follow this same example.
