Being a leader in the church is a serious calling.  What do you do when someone asks to take a leadership role, or to teach, or in some other way to mentor your church, your family, or your children?  Today, Pastor John unpacks Paul’s instructions to Timothy not to “lay hands” on someone “quickly.”  Care and discernment must be taken before appointing anyone to any position of responsibility.  If you’re eager to serve, that’s great!  Your church leaders will be able to put you in the right place at the right time.
