When God’s People Pray – Part 1

If there’s any universal message that defines our culture today, it might be this one: “you can do it!”  Whether it’s the hero of the movie, the athlete, the student, or the worker in the office, people are told that they have the power within themselves to accomplish almost anything.  But today, Pastor John says, “hold on a minute!”  You might think that you can “do it on your own,” but that’s never true.  You can’t even breathe without the air God provides.  So, remind yourself to always depend on God in prayer.
