When God’s People Pray – Part 2

We know from the Scriptures that we are to pray for all people.  That includes kings (or presidents) and all those in authority.  It even includes your boss if you’re a worker, your teacher if you’re a student, and your parents if you’re a child.  But what do you pray for?  As Pastor John emphasizes today, the most important thing to pray for, for anybody, is that they be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.  So yes, pray for the authorities that they do their job well, but also pray for their eternal salvation.
