We often hear phrases about the Christian life like “denying yourself,” “losing your life,” or “dying daily.”  Sounds kinda disheartening, doesn’t it?  But today, Pastor John shows us why that’s actually a good thing.  It’s because Christ doesn’t want to smash us down; He wants to build us up.  He doesn’t want to destroy your personality; He wants to redeem it.  When you have the light of Christ living in you, He’s actually making you into the person you were meant to be – fully alive and reflecting His glory.
