The Sufficient Scripture – Part 1

You’ve probably heard that the Bible is “inspired” by God.  But what’s so unusual about that?  After all, the word “inspired” can mean a lot of things.  You could be inspired by seeing a beautiful sunset in the mountains.  Maybe you see a situation in your community, and you’re inspired to do something about it.  But today, Pastor John explains two important aspects of the Bible’s inspiration.  One: it’s by God.  Two, He actually “breathes” it out.  When you’re reading the Bible, you’re reading His message to you.
