The Church and the Bible – Part 2

Pastor John Miller

January 11, 2024

Ephesians 2:19–22

2:19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

The Bible is important to everyone in the church. It needs to be studied by the congregation. It needs to be discussed with each other and shared with people outside the church’s four walls. And maybe most importantly, it needs to be taught by the Pastor. Today Pastor John will share what a vital role this book plays in every church body! It begins with the person teaching and training those he leads in Scripture. It continues with the church receiving and applying those truths and then spreading it to others!

Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Ephesians chapter 2 as he continues his message The Church and the Bible.
